Anxiety

“Anxiety's like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you very far.”(

Jodi Picoult, Sing You Home)

I can help you learn to better manage your anxiety. I have instructed Anxiety Management for Kaiser Mental Health and have experience helping clients feel calmer, less anxious and able to focus on the lives they wish for. Some of my methods in addition to supportive talk therapy include using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to examine recurring thoughts and behaviors and learning to choose others less anxiety producing, introducing exposure therapy, using guided imagery, using mindfulness tools including relaxed breathwork and meditation. I am also a certified Hypnotherapist and can create a personalized recording to practice with at home.
